So, Im curious..
When you enter a room/party/something - what kind of girls/men catches your eye?
And when you do see someone you want to get in touch with, just how do you do it? What kind of approach do you use to get their attention?

Then picture this;
You're at a party, you saw a cute girl/boy, and you have tried to get his/her attention. Of course, one of two things happens;

1. You get it. But how do you keep it?
2. You don't get it. How do you react? Trying harder? Ignoring her/him, playing hard to get?

Does men and women react differently or the same, to the same kind of approaches?
If differently; What approaches work on men but not on woman, and vica verca?

How would a woman/man get your attention?

I have found a flat.
One of 3 phone calls I got after putting an ad into the local newspaper turned out to be the one. Finally.
11 days from now was the deadline, if I hadn't found anything by then, I would have had to move to Grimstad - my parents place, which is about 50km from here.
Problem solved :)
I have the keys, the flat is mine, Im starting to move as soon as my friend with the lorry is ready to help. Sometime next week.

It's a funky, trendy flat, 2 levels. Living-room, kitchen and bathroom upstairs, (ground-floor) and 2 bedrooms downstairs. Share a backyard with the other tenants in the building.

2 minutes walk from the city beach, or palmbeach, as we call it.
2 minutes walk from all the shops, pubs, restaurants, etc,
- and 10 minutes walk from work.

Will post pictures later, right now Im just so vanvittig relieved and happy.

I have a job! :D

So the plan for the next year is; take those two subjects I lack to get my bachelor-degree, while working. And enjoy life.

Permanent place to live.
As I will be a student the next year as well, I can keep renting trough the student-society, which means cheap rent, no deposit, and a good location. I can walk to work.
I have applied for a flat and single parents with children is in priority-group 1, but I'm a bit late, so ..*fingers crossed*

I'm quite satisfied with myself right now. With no money, and no chanse to get a loan, I have still managed to pull this trough. *hugs herself*

Time for an update.

Im still looking for å place to rent, have looked at several appartements, but havent found anything yet. Have a appartemenet Im going to have a look at tonight, Im not sure why I said yes to that, cause the rent is a bit more than I on afford.
75m2, new fire-place, 2 bedrooms, on a iceland, (bridge-connected to the mainland).

So that's how that situation is.
Hope i get a job soon.

On a good note : This weekend is going to be my chearing-up weekend, Im finally going to CatPeople again. I am really lookin forward to that. :D

They did call back, (the 2 jobs I applied for) and Im now going for an interview with them on Monday.
It's a position within a huge firm in Norway, and I could see myself in that job.
Konsulent - reiser. To tired to find the english words for that. Travel-consultant?
Not as in a travel-agency, but preparing the tickets, visa, etc, for the businessmen working in the firm, as well as dealing with ..ehm..travellbills?
Travelcoordinator maybe.

Anyway, I don't expect to actually get the job though, it's too secretary-like, and I have no real secretary-experience.

I's still fun to get called in for an interview on the very first job I applied for. :)

I have such lovely friends.
Saturday; spent time with my boyfriend Geir, my bestfriend (and my bf's ex-gf) misspuz, and Hanspatrick; a friend we haven't seen in a long time.
Eating pizza with a little too much chilli, drinking PepsiMax, talking about old times and new times, plans ahead, and just relaxing.
Simple things can make such a delightful evening. :)

To day is school, I haven't been there for 3 weeks now, and I really myst try to see if I can manage staying there for some hours. I hope the dizziness will be nice to me. (I.o.w; leave me alone)
The day after Im going to get a CT to rule out scary reasons to why I get this dizziness in the first place, the day after that; part-exam at school.

Have some new pictures I will post later, but now; lappy need more power.

Since I started the LA salsa course some weeks ago, I've danced salsa in my living-room,in the kitchen while making food, practiced the steps under the desk while doing homework, and of course; signed up for the next course.
I'm no longer a 'newbe', I'm an 'advanced newbe'. *proud*

This weekend I will attend a Salsa-course, cuban-style this time, from 11:00 to 14:40 saturday and sunday, then marengue & Bachata from 15:00 to 16:15 both days as well, and finally; my belly-dance course starts Sunday at 17:30. (lasts until 19:00)

Sooo..this means; I am gonna get a lot of exercise this weekend. :)
My feet are probably gonna hurt like hell Sunday night/Monday morning.
But, it's so fun, and good for the figure as well ;)

Last night I took the late-night-train to Oslo.
Before I got on the train, me and my bf dropped by a place to get some food. We were the only customers in there, and the owner (moved here from India, I believe), sat down and chatted with us. Seemed like a nice man.

After a while a young man came in, asking if there was a bike in there. (?)
He seemed to have taken some kind of drugs.
The owner misunderstood his question, and thought the young man asked for a person named 'bike', and the young man then thought the owner was making fun of him, and told him to "shut the fuck up".

I understood they were both misunderstanding each other and getting angry due to those misunderstanding, so I tried telling the young man that there was no bike there, and the owner that the young man was asking for a his bike, not a person. But they were already all worked up and irritated at each other and ignored everything I said.
Then the owner, a quite big man (age 35-40), got really angry as the young man cursed at him again, rushed towards him, and hit him in the face so hard I could hear the very icky sound of the young man's nose getting broken, while yelling "Out! Out!"

The young man quickly left the place, holding his face. I stood the for some seconds, rather paralyzed by the violence I just had witnessed. Then we grabbed our things and rushed outside after him.
We could se the blood on the stairs and sidewalk outside the building as we walked out, but the man had already disappeared.

I am just so shocked. One never expect to see such a thing. I didn't atleast.
A sober man, at his own workplace, broke a young man's nose (or so I suspect judging on the sound the punch made, and the blood) just for him swearing at him.
The younger man was rude, but he did not seem threatening in anyway, so breaking his nose?
I really hope he reports it to the police, though I doubt it.
I really hate violence, and this could have been easily avoided if the owner had just shown a little bit patient and tolerance.

How can this be true?
